ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM INTEGRATION

ABDi partners with Continental Access Systems (Continental) to offer the most reliable access control solution for gated communities. ABDi's Gate/Amenity Control Module provides a seamless interface between the CMS and Continental access control systems. Continental Controller panels operate independently so a computer is only needed for system programming and reporting.

The system has the capability to support different types of access control technologies. For example, the community has the flexibility to use a vehicular access control device for the gate locations - and a different device for control access into the amenity locations (clubhouse, workout room, swimming pool, tennis courts, bathrooms, etc.). The result is a customizable, user-friendly, fully integrated system to handle all of your community's access control needs.

Each access control device can be programmed to operate at specific locations (access levels) and on specific dates or times (time zones). Residents can be granted access at all locations and times. If a resident moves out of the community, sells a vehicle, loses the device, fails to pay their dues, the device can be deactivated in seconds. Employees and contractors can be restricted to entering through a specific location, only at the time when they are scheduled to work. The possibilities are endless. All data input, device activation or deactivation and reporting is done using the CMS software. The system can even announce the name of people entering the community through the resident lane by playing an audio .wav file!

3rd Party Software Integration

Eliminate the need to enter the same information into multiple databases by interfacing ABDi's CMS software with many popular property management/accounting software packages (Caliber, Jenark, Jonas, C3 & VMS), online tee-time management software (ForeTees & TeeTime.com). Custom integrations with other 3rd party software available upon request.

Alarm Monitoring Systems

A growing number of police departments across the country no longer respond or give a low priority to responding to home security alarms due to the number of false alarms. In many cases, the police department requests that onsite security personnel respond to the alarm to assess the situation prior to their dispatching a unit. ABDi's Alarm Monitoring System receives signals directly from the resident's existing home security system or their contracted central monitoring station. The alarm type and location is instantly broadcast throughout the CMS network and allows the community's security personnel to be immediately dispatched to assess the situation. Response time that was frequently hours is reduced to minutes. The Police Department can then be notified if warranted, but in many cases your security personnel can resolve the incident. The result is an increased level of service and protection that can be provided to your community's residents.

Safe Communities Vendor ID Program

Improve the level security by integrating CMS with the Safe Communities Vendor ID program. The program performs background checks on vendors and issues an ID card to the individual if they pass.
